Philanthropic Education Organization

The P.E.O Sisterhood is a women's organization which supports educational opportunities for women through loans, grants and scholarships. The International organization was founded in 1869.

The local P.E.O chapter sponsors loans and grants for women, scholarships for college and sponsors a "Senior Tea" each spring for girls graduating from Oakes High School.
