Landfill Location & General Information
The Landfill is located 2 miles West and 3 ⁄ 4 mile south of Oakes. It is an inert landfill only. No household garbage accepted. Apliances with Freon must be certified and tagged that the Freon has been removed. Computers and televisions are not accepted. The should be disposed of in your regular household garbage.
The Compost Pile and Tree Pile are located by the Landfill and are open during Landfill Hours. Only grass clippings and garden waste are allowed at this site. Tree branches need to be placed in the separate pile from the yard waste.

CHECK PAYMENT
Make checks payable to the City of Oakes, 115 S. 5th Street, Oakes, ND 58474.
All loads must be separated before entering the site to avoid possible turning away of your load.
